GIVT APP

Our church (and other Elim churches)  use Givt as a way of giving your offering. Givt is an app that allows you to participate in this anytime and anywhere. Even when you are watching from your sofa at home. 

As with cash, the giver remains anonymous, so that the Church  cannot see which person has donated what amount.

HOW DOES IT WORK ?

To give with Givt you need a smartphone (Android or iOS) including the installation of the Givt app. You can enter your e-mail address and start giving immediately after downloading (see links below).

You can complete your further registration at a later time. The Givt app is designed so that you can easily be guided through this process.

When you do register you enter a number of personal details (your address, mobile number and your bank account number).

You also sign an authorisation so that money can be debited from your account. (This does not set up a recurring direct debit, so you are not tied to a certain amount on a certain date. You choose each time you give). 

When you want to give, you can choose Donaghcloney Elim Church from a drop-down menu of churches, or it  is also possible to give by scanning a QR code  (see below).
  
HOW SECURE IS IT  ?

The transactions are handled by SlimPay; a bank specialising in the processing of direct debits. SlimPay is supervised by several national banks in Europe, including De Nederlandse Bank (DNB).

No transactions take place while giving with Givt. The transactions take place afterwards through a direct debit. As these can be revoked, extra security is given.

Donaghcloney Elim can log in to their Givt account and see how much is given, and at what time, but not by whom. In regards to the church, you are giving anonymously.
